Pretrial order #103 supplies an update on the status of two bellwether cases involving the plaintiffs Roseanne Sanchez and Katherine Hall. These bellwether cases are Sanchez, et al. v. Boston Scientific Corp. 2:12-cv-05762 and Hall v. Boston Scientific Corp. 2:12-cv-08186.
According to the pretrial order, Sanchez underwent further surgical operations following the conclusion of certain pretrial procedures. As a result, Judge Joseph R. Goodwin ruled to permit both parties to conduct further discovery, especially gathering new evidence from the medical professionals involved in Sanchez’s surgeries.
Judge Goodwin issued the pretrial order in stating that the cases should not “languish on the docket”.
