These injuries include transvaginal mesh erosion, which can result in internal damage and chronic pain.
According to Bloomberg, the C.R. Bard settlement would provide each plaintiff with a compensation package of around $43,000.

There has been no word yet on whether the plaintiffs in these 500 cases have accepted the $21 million settlement.
