Pradaxa (Dabigatran)
Pradaxa is a blood thinning medicine known generically as dabigatran etexilate. Pradaxa is manufactured by the German pharmaceutical company, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2010.
Doctors have prescribed Pradaxa for patients who suffer from non-valvular atrial fibrillation. The anticoagulant medicine, Pradaxa, is intended to reduce the risk of blood clot formation and stroke. However, there have been many reports of serious side effects related to the use of Pradaxa.
These Pradaxa side effects include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Severe internal bleeding
- Cerebral hemorrhage
- Uncontrollable bleeding
Furthermore, the severity of bleeding caused by the use of Pradaxa has a strong link to fatality.
If you or someone you love has taken Pradaxa, and as a result, has endured an unwarranted amount of pain and suffering, you and your loved one may be entitled to receive compensation for such suffering and loss. Please know that you do not have to suffer in isolation and silence.
